I like how this really comes off as being such a nice, calm place. The waves crashing in and the dark sky make it seem like a nice place to sit and think; this is also highlighted by the fact that the cliffs fade a little in the distance because of what looks like fog. I also like the nice greens in the, but overall the colours seem kind of dull and come off as grey. Keep up the nice work though!
i love the colors in this picture; the blue, green, and brownish-grey of the rock are very earthy and soothing. with this specific picture, i feel like you tried to do too much, though. i think you should have gone for either a shot of the cliffs, or a grassy-sea contrast picture, not both. now because i wasn't there, i don't know how possible it would've been for you to get a good shot of the cliffs without falling off one of them, but that's my suggestion
Firstly, I really like the scene you've decided to capture . This is a wonderful angle to be at to photograph while looking down at the water at the same time . It was a very good choice to take this image, capturing all of the cliffs in a row instead of just the one closest to you . This decision adds so much dimension to the picture itself & makes it very interesting .
We can also see the detail in the water from it hitting the walls of the cliffs, which is beautiful . The soft color of the water connects nicely with the sky at the right-hand side, almost blending in perfectly . The small details in the sky, from the clouds, is a nice touch as well . I'm glad you didn't do anything to hide those lines .
What I would say as a critique, is that there isn't much 'oomph' to the photo itself because the colors don't pop enough from the green . In my opinion, the grass, trees, &/or moss should have been amplified so much more then how it is . The photo in general is good, but it's missing a certain 'creative' factor . I'm not sure what it would look like in black & white, for instance, I'd have tried that out to see if it could make this piece more memorable or striking . If not in monochrome, then just adding more to the colour would improve the quality of this shot .
As a whole, the composition of the photo is very well executed, all tying in together nicely with it's contrasts in texture . It's a nicely taken photo, good job .
The storms have to be very fierce for sure.I've never experienced a real storm, but the wind the day I took the photo was already strong enough to push you a metre to the side every now and then.
